So im 15 years old, im overweight i guess you can say :/ were out of school right now and im on a diet, my diet includes chicken, egg whites, fruits, veggies and water. Im not one to drink water. I drink 3 bottles of water a day..my question is how should i exercise? I want to use my elliptical. How long should i use it? On what resistant? What level? I need to lose this weight before school.

Hey! I'm 15 and slightly overweight too! I just got a trainer, that was on the biggest loser for a couple of weeks. The elliptical machine works WONDERS for me! But the treadmill works even better, but if you really want to use the elliptical get up to a certain speed and just try to maintain that speed for as long as possible. It's really hard, but it works!
Here are some other weight loss tips:
1st- Write down what you eat. It sounds stupid, but it helps you to realize what you are eating wrong. Then total it up. I use calorieking.com.
2nd- Always chew gum. It'll keep your mind off of food, and make you not as hungry.
3rd- DO NOT i repeat DO NOT starve yourself! If you do, your body will store EVERYTHING you eat!!
4th- Get into the gym 5-7 days a week. It's a lot of days, I know, but you WILL lose weight.

That does not sound like a healthy diet. All you need to do is count calories and eat healthfully.

Also realize that it's not going to come off fast. It's a long journey so be patient.

Only one piece of equipment will not make you lose weight.You need both cardio and strengh training to lose weight and build muscle.Muscle burns additional calories which means that it works as an advantage to your body for the more muscle you have.As for the elliptical I usually do it for 30 minutes,level 5 and resistance 5.But that is because I also work out 4-5 days a week.If you are a beginner you will start with a low level like 2 and a low resistance like 2 then increase as you get use to it.Also running makes you lose fat and weight from all over the body so that is why so many people run:to get in shape and maintain it that way,including me for 30 minutes:warm up 5 minutes,increase speed from 4.0 to 5.0,then every couple of minutes increase to 5.1,5.2,5.3 until you get to 5.5....I mean if you can run faster than that do so.I also run for 15 minutes at 5.7mph but that means that i burn more cals...Strength training you need to do ASAP to lose weight and drink more water and eat carbs before you work out because your body uses carbs first then protein then fats...
