Dog situation! Need help advice ASAP!?

I'm a Dalmatian and Border Collie owner and I moved to San Diego and I could only have one dog there and my poor nervous Dalmatian wouldn't do well during the moving process. So we gave her away to a different family not because we didn't like her but because we loved her and wanted what was best. But now our Border Collie doesn't like being an only dog so we though about getting her a new friend but now the people that we gave her to don't want her anymore and want to give her back to us. But why did they get her if they were going to replace her with a Tea Cup poodle in 4 months? What Jerks!!!! Anyways, Should I get a new one or get my old Dalmatian back?Dog situation! Need help advice ASAP!?
Get your Dalmatian back. If it has problems during car rides you can talk to your vet about travel meds. My cat has to be partially sedated to go anywhere or he vomits and has diarrhea everywhere. They vets can prescribe meds for the weight of the dog and for how long the trip is. I would ask for a trial dose to see how your dogs reacts to it and to see if it lasts long enough. The meds are very safe and usually just make them loopy so they dont really know whats happening. If you need to if she needs to fly out to you you will need to get her health papers as well but I would recommend driving if at all possible so she knows you are with her. But talk with your vet and the people you gave her to about what the best way to get her to you in SD with the least amount of stress for her. Good luckDog situation! Need help advice ASAP!?
get the old dalmation back!
i don't know what to say.
having lived in san diego there are tons of dog parks. doggy day care servies and dog day camp where you can take your collie. As seeing you cant have another dog why would you thinkabout getting a new one when you got rid of your dalmatian?
get your dalmation back, it will have a loving home.
Hi

Yeah I think you should get your Dalmation back. Most likely if you don't take her back they will give her to the pound and that is even more stressfull
By all means get your Dalmation back. She will remember you and your other dog and probably be very happy to be reunited with you. The people who took her and now don't want her just evidentally didn't really want a big dog and choose to get a poodle. Poodles require ALOT of grooming upkeep!
Your Dal, of course. Poor dog.
i think u should get ur dalmation dog back since they people that u gave it to dosent want it anymore. cuz they might send it to a doggie pound which u dont want that to happen. :( besides ur border collie might feel happier

have any questions email or im me
If you think it is at all feasible I would take your old dalmation back. Who knows what could happen to her, and it is our responsibility as pet owners to make sure that our dogs get taken care of. If you can not take her back, then maybe you could find another good home for. I would not leave the responsibility to this other family that you gave her to. Good Luck!
If you love your pet you should get her back.when you get a pet you make a pack that you have to take care of the pet. you must love and care for them no matter what your pet pevs you have.
Get your old dalmation back! Am sure she is missing you terribly and am sure your Collie will be more than happy to get his old friend back.

This really would be the best thing to do!

Maybe your dalmations new owners couldn't handle a big dog and now want to opt for a smaller breed. But maybe this is a blessing in disguise, a sign for you to get your dalmation back!

Good luck :]
Easy question and you know the answer. Go get your Dalmatian back. Let your furry friends have each other and have their family be complete.
I would definetly get the Dalmation back! If you can pick her up, great. But if you have to have her shipped, just think: It won't be that long, and most likely she will survive the trip, and when the dog gets to you it will only be a short time before the family is happy again!
OMG. Obviously your Dalmatian. She's been though a lot - don't you owe her one?
If you can only have one dog, why, when you gave your Dalmation away, would you be looking for another dog? I know you said your Boarder Collie was sad, but you just stated you can only have one.

I'm sure, in San Diego, there are tons of Doggie Daycare places....I would try that. As for the friends who no longer want the Dalmation, have them call the local Dalmation Rescue.
Well I don't understand. You said that you could only have one dog. But, if you can have two dogs I'd suggest taking back the old one. You obviously love her. And miss her/him. Sorry but, getting another dog would be pretty ockward.
