Moving and going to new highschool freshman year, leaving all friends behind :( advice?
I know how it feels, hun. I'm moving when I go to high school. Just let it be.. it can't be fixed. Ther are some things in life that you have to unlock and let them live.Help! Moving and going to new highschool freshman year, leaving all friends behind :( advice?
you'll be ok...expecially in highschool you meet sooo many new friends. im a senior in highschool now. nd im acuatlly not friends with any of my middle school friends. highschool has so many diverse types of people you will surely meet new friends easliy
It can be a good thing! Be your own person! let yourself BREEEAATHE!!!

Become a trend setter! a leader!

everyone from your old life ha you pegged... you ';knew'; your place...

these new kids dont!
U dont need friends, u got internet..... :)

just be strong, and normal in the first few weeks. After that u can go crazy :)
Make this move with the intention of starting a new and better life for yourself. Always know and remember that when you are older, you can come back and live there if you want to.
Join a club or something at school you can make friends that way.
It can be very hard. I went through/still is going through the same thing. 1st make alot of friends on arrival. be very social. dont sit by yourself. try to go out with people you meet.
Go to your first day of school with your head held high and lots of confidence. You are a special person just like all the other kids at the school. Join some clubs. Ask people you like over. Be nice to everyone. Don't talk bad about others. In no time you'll be at home there. Good luck!! You are special and you should know that!!
Calm down. High school is a new start anyways. I started off with no friends, and never tried to make any, I let others come to me. Don't try and stand out, be yourself and hope someone tries to be friendly with you. I went to private school for my 6th-8th grade years. I liked it better because there were only 50 students in my grade, so you get new friends and you'll know everyone. There are no popular kids, just kids that seem like the leader of the pack. No one is left out. I say I'd prefer it better then public school.
Well sweety everything happens for a reason and it may be in your destiny that you move so get addresses of all your friends and plan on getting together over the holidays or summer and when you get to the new place join some groups and whatever you do don't become a ';loner'; you will get depressed also join something with sports that always brings you close to people that have good personalities! GOOD LUCK
Don't worry about it I was in the exact same position you are (except I continued to attend public school). People there will know that you are new and will make you feel welcome. You can always stay in contact with your old friends and make new ones at your new school.
This is a blessing in disguise, you just don't realise it! I had to move to a new high school in year 8 and I understand that you would be feeling apprehensive. But honestly don't, this is your chance to start afresh all over again. No one knows who you are or what you are like so... you can officially try and be a trend starter, change to how you see fit and of course make new friends!

Look on the good side and don't worry, high school is always going to be the same pretty much wherever you go. Think about college and university you will eventually leave all friends behind when you move there. You're lucky, your experiencing this early on in life. What a gift! You're one step ahead of the game!
