i have a bff and i want her to watch a scary movie with me. she wont even try though shes never seen one. i told he well start out small and build up. what should i do if that doesnt work?HELP! ADVICE PLEAse!?
keep a disney movie on stand-by in case you need scariness detox -- and try a scary movie with a definite, they-killed-the-bad-guy end. nothing is scarier to a horror newbie than the thought that the scariness is still out there, waiting to get them.
otherwise, you can work your way up with funny scary movies (the Scary Movie series automatically springs to mind, along with Army of Darkness and Shaun of the Dead) but anything with a sense of humor is always good.
also, if you can get a comedy with the same lead actor or actress as your scary movie. Like ';See, it might be kind of scary, but it's not real. Here they are in another movie making fart jokes and falling in love...';HELP! ADVICE PLEAse!?
Start out with Disturbia. It's a good romance movie that i love watching with my friends! It's awesome for a first-time scary movie because its only scary for about ten minutes at the end. If it doesn't work then don't force it. If she doesn't want to watch it, don't make her! There are a lot of other AWESOME movies out there!
