Makeup?? Need help/Advice!=)?

i'm 14 and my mum has finally said i can start wearing makeup and i really want to but the problem is that i don't know what to go shopping for? I know that sounds weird but i mean are there specific stuff that you're supposed to put on to help your skin, make the makeup last and stuff like that?? Any suggestions on what to buy??please and thanks!Makeup?? Need help/Advice!=)?
No, there aren't specific stuff that will make it last longer, unless it says long lasting itself.


But always wash your face before bed to get rid of it so it doesn't damage your skin, and right before applying it so you can start with fresh clean skin. And, use moisterizer to keep your skin healthy.


The real basics are eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and lipwear. I don't use any cover up or blush because I don't like residue on my skin.


Make up can be dangerous and harmful to your skin, so try not to use alot.


Maybelline, Prestige, Covergirl are pretty good cosmetic brands.


The most important thing is to have fun messing and experimenting around with them. Don't let make up stress you out or rule your life cuz they're only there for your apparel, and personality is what counts.

at your age you probably have a nice complexion so don't worry about foundation and concealer. Try a little eyeliner, mascara and colored lipglosses. And you also want to learn to shape your eyebrows PROPERLY, or get them done at a salon. You can also fo to a department store or makeup store like MAC for help P.s. don't forget to take your makeup off at night.
Try to avoid makeup with oil, that is terrible on your skin. There are makeup sprayers, at least around here there are. The keep your makeup on longer. Also, clean your brushes at least every month to avoid bacteria issues. Bobbi brown is expensive but it is really high quality. Loreal and neutrogena is the best inexpensive brand.
your only 14 so u dont need to go over board and buy u dont need like eye shadow and stuff the look thats in now is just natural so basically just buy some cover up powder or liquid i prefer powder cuz its easy and fast or u can buy liquid with a matte finish that looks really good, maybe some blush depending on ur skine tone mascara and eye liner if your going out at night its okay to wear eye liner and eye shadow but during the day its best to keep it just foundation and mascara u dont wanna look caked up with too much make up just ask the lady thats working what foundation works best for u good luck and remember ur only 14 u have alot of time for make up

and the outside all the way around gold eyeliner.


it makes me eyes (hazel/green/gold) stand out really well and it looks natural.. and from experience the less eyeliner the better.

You need to get a good foundation that matches your skin tone. The best for someone at your age is a 'clean' formula. This will help to keep the makeup from clogging your pores and causing acne. A light blush or bronzer. To look the most natural you may want to go with a light toned bronzer. If you decide to go with any eyeshadow, pick light shimmery colors. You don't want to overdo it at your age. Choose a translucent powder, this will help to blend everything without making your face look white. Get a good mascara. I like Max Factor. And lip glosses, a nice clear or lightly tinted color would be nice.
